
Entry Requirements
- 1. Applicants should be in good health and of good character, respect Chinese habits and customs and be willing to abide by both Chinese Law & Regulations as well as the university’s Rules & Regulations.
- 2. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and less than 40, have a valid foreign passport and non-Chinese citizenship. Applicants under the age of 18 as of September 1, 2021 must have a guardian in China.
- 3. If both parents or one of the parents of the applicant are Chinese citizens and reside in a foreign country, the applicant should have foreign nationality at birth and hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least 4 years. In addition, more than 2 years of actual residence in a foreign country has been recorded in the last 4 years (ending in April 30, 2021). The actual residence of more than 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit signatures. For residences of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who immigrated to foreign countries and are applying as international students, please refer to the requirements above.
- 4. Applicant’s language proficiency must meet the requirements for the relevant major. Applicants for Chinese language major and Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages major must reach a score above 180 in HSK 4; those of other majors must reach a score of above 180 in HSK 5.
- 5. Applicants who meet either of the following conditions can apply for exemption from written examination. The qualification will be determined by the school on merit basis.

Applicant who have graduated must provide the original or notarized certificate of high school diploma. Applicants who will graduate after the application period should provide the original copy of expected graduation certificate. Please bring the original diploma and photocopies of high school graduation certificate during registration at the university.
*4. The original transcript of all courses in high school
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.

With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included(Photocopy of valid passport identification page. Passport must be an ordinary passport and be valid for at least six months. Applicants currently residing in China must include a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.)

(3) Applicants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who obtained foreign nationality after immigration must provide foreign certificate of naturalization, proof of the cancellation of original Chinese household registration and renunciation of Chinese nationality in addition to the materials for the two categories above.Tips:
